Through the instant petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to release the payment for the works done by him along with interest.

The petitioner claims that legal notice dated 2.1.2017 (Annexure P-2) has been sent to respondent No.4. Notice of motion. On the asking of the Court, notice has been accepted by Ms. Anu Pal, AAG, Punjab. Copy given. The petition is disposed of, at this stage, with a direction to respondent No.4 to consider the claim of the petitioner, mentioned in legal notice (Annexure P-2) within a period of three months after the receipt of a certified copy of the order. In case the petitioner is found entitled to any amount, the same be released to him, as per rules and procedure.
