IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA

AT CHANDIGARH CRM-M-41022-2020 (O&M) Date of Decision : 12.08.2024 RUPINDER KAUR .....Petitioner

VERSUS

STATE OF PUNJAB AND ANOTHER .....Respondents

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE KULDEEP TIWARI

Present:

Mr. Kunal Vinayak, Advocate, for the petitioner (through V.C.) Mr.Pardeep Bajaj, DAG, Punjab.

Mr. J.S.Bhandari, Advocate, for the respondent no.2.

KULDEEP TIWARI, J.(Oral) 1.

None had cause appearance on behalf of the petitioner since 24.01.2023 till 16.07.2024, in the instant matter. 2.

On the last date of hearing, i.e. 16.07.2024, the following order was passed:- "No one has caused an appearance on behalf of the petitioner. Purely in the interest of justice, adjourned to 12.08.2024.

To be shown in the urgent list."

Interim order to continue.

It is made clear that in case, the arguments are not advanced on the adjourned date, the interim relief already granted to the petitioner will be ipso facto vacated." 2.

Today, learned counsel for the petitioner has caused appearance through virtual platform, and submits that he has no instructions from the petitioner, to address arguments in this matter.

CRM-M-41022-2020 -23.

In view of the above, it seems that the petitioner is not interested to pursue the instant petition, therefore, the same is dismissed for want of prosecution.

4.

The trial court concerned, is directed to forthwith proceed with the trial in the instant FIR.

5.

The Registry is directed to send a copy of this order to the learned trial court concerned, for its compliance. (KULDEEP TIWARI) August 12, 2024 JUDGE dharamvir Whether speaking/reasoned.
