Grievance of the petitioner raised in the writ petition is for release of retiral benefits along with interest at the rate of 18% per annum. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that petitioner superannuated on 30.06.2016, but his retiral benefits have not been paid to him. Learned counsel further contended that petitioner has also not been given even leave encashment, pension and other retiral benefits and for that purpose, he got issued legal notice dated 04.09.2018 (Annexure P4), which is still pending for decision thereon.

On asking of the Court, Mrs. Anju Arora, Additional Advocate General, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3. A complete copy of paper-book be provided to her during the course of the day.
