Through this writ petition, the petitioner prays for direction to respondent No. 5, to release her minor daughter from Nari Niketan. It has been asserted that her minor daughter had lodged an FIR No. 355, dated 24.07.2020, registered under Section 376 (2) (N) & 506 IPC at Police Station City Barnala against her father. It is further asserted that the minor daughter was produced before the District Courts and the Court considered it appropriate to send her to Nari Niketan, Jalandhar. It is further asserted that the petitioner filed a miscellaneous application before the concerned Court, however, the same was withdrawn on 19.08.2020. It has further been pleaded that as advised, the petitioner filed an application, before the Child Development and Welfare Officer, in this regard, which is pending.
