In the instant writ petition, directions have been sought to be issued to the respondents to release general provident fund and other retiral benefits to the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that petitioner superannuated on 30.04.2018 as Traffic Manager, but so far no retiral benefits have been released to him. Learned counsel further contended that for redressal of his grievance, petitioner made representation dated 17.09.2018 (Annexure P6) to the respondents, but still no action has been taken thereon.
