RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Prayer in the present petition is for issuance of direction to respondents Nos.1 and 2 to entrust the investigation in case FIR No.138, dated 03.06.2022, registered under Sections 354-A IPC and under Sections 9 and 10 of POCSO Act, at Police Station Guruharsahai, District Ferozepur, to some Senior Police Officer of the District Ferozepur or to hand over the investigation of the case to some independent investigating Agency. This Court vide order dated 16.09.2022 had directed the State to file status report.

Learned State counsel has placed on record the status report by way of an affidavit of Yadwinder Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division Guru Harsahai, District Ferozepur, on behalf of respondent/State, dated 14.11.2022. He has submitted that after investigation, the Superintendent of Police (Investigation), Ferzoepur, vide a report dated 03.11.2022, has recommended for cancellation of the FIR. CRM-M-42529-2022 -2has submitted that the cancellation was prepared and the same would be submitted before the Court of competent jurisdiction shortly. After hearing the learned State counsel, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the State to file the cancellation report so prepared before the Court of competent jurisdiction within 15 days from today. Petitioner is at liberty to pursue her remedies as available to her in accordance with law.
