This is a civil writ petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for setting aside the arbitrary action of the respondents in restricting revision of electoral rolls to only polling station No.55 of Municipal Council, Jalalabad.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has very fairly submitted that since the election has been notified, thus, the petitioner be permitted to withdraw the present petition with liberty to seek alternate remedy in accordance with law.
