Present writ petition is for issuance of directions to the respondents to grant revised pension and other pensionary benefits to the petitioner after counting the military service with effect from 15.06.1965 to 01.09.1968 and from 03.12.1971 to 02.02.1973 rendered by him during the first and second national emergencies.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that for redressal of his grievance, petitioner got issued legal notice dated 08.10.2018 (Annexure P9), but no action has been taken thereon by the respondents till now. Learned counsel further contended that grievance of the petitioner would be redressed if the said legal notice is decided within a stipulated time frame.
