Present writ petition is for issuance of directions to the respondents to re-fix the pay and pension of the petitioners in terms of the instructions dated 22.06.2015 (Annexure P10) issued by the Punjab Government and in the light of the judgments rendered by this Court in Vidya Sagar Singla & 291 Others v. The State of Punjab and Another (CWP-2632-1985, decided on 21.02.1986) and Rajinder Singh and Others v. The State of Punjab and Another (CWP-7862-1995, 28.11.2013). Learned counsel for the petitioners contended that for redressal of their grievance, petitioners got issued legal notice dated 24.05.2018 (Annexure P12), but no action has been taken thereon by the respondents till date.
