Mr. Gurvinder Singh, Advocate for the petitioner. JASWANT SINGH, J (ORAL) The petitioner retired on attaining the age of superannuation on 30.4.2010 from the rank of Assistant Foreman with the Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited. After retirement, he was issued a charge sheet dated 21.12.2011 regarding his alleged misconduct in the year 2009.

In the present petition, he has laid challenge to the punishment order dated 10.3.2014 (P.1) whereby the punishment was imposed.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel has sought for permission to withdraw the present petition in order to enable his client to avail his alternative remedy in accordance with law.
