**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL , J. (ORAL) Case is taken up for hearing through video conferencing. This petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent No. 2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and her family members from the hands of private respondents. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that respondent No. 3 is the husband of the petitioner and the other private respondents are the members of her in-laws family.

In the present case, the marriage of the petitioner was solemnized with respondent No. 3 on 07.4.2019. She went to Canada on 20.5.2019 and came back to India on 10.1.2020. Since there is a matrimonial dispute between the petitioner and her husband and in-laws family, the petitioner can avail other appropriate remedy, available to her as per law.

The petition is dismissed.
