The present writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, 1950 seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Certiorari for setting aside the Award dated 23.05.2016 (Annexure P-6) passed by Permanent Lok Adalat (Public Utility Services), Bhiwani. Learned counsel for the respondent No.2 contends that after passing of the Award, the respondent No.2 had submitted a fresh application for release of electricity connection and that the said connection has also been released in favour of the petitioner. As such, he has instructions to say that the respondent No.2 would not press the Award in question for its execution. There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner today. However, in view of the aforesaid specific statement made by learned counsel for the respondent No.2-applicant, the present petition is disposed of.

The Award dated 23.05.2016 (Annexure P-6) passed by Permanent Lok Adalat (Public Utility Services), Bhiwani shall not be given effect by the respondent No.2-applicant.

Liberty is, however, granted to the petitioner to seek revival of the present petition in case any of his grievances still survives.  -
