The present writ petition has been filed seeking increment under Assured Career Progressive (ACP) Scheme after 18 years, 24 years and 32 years of service.

It has been contended by the counsel for the petitioners that for seeking the said relief, a legal notice has been issued on behalf of the petitioners on 28.07.2018 to the respondents. Counsel for the petitioners states that the petitioners will be satisfied, if at present a direction is issued to the respondents to decide the legal notice dated 28.07.2018 (Annexure P-3) by passing a speaking order within the time frame.

Without expressing any opinion about the merits of the case, keeping in view the request made by the counsel for the petitioners, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Competent

In case the Competent Authority comes to the conclusion that the petitioners are entitled for the relief as claimed by them in their legal notice, then the consequential benefits be also released to the petitioners within a period of further three months.
