**** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (ORAL) Present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for claiming the grade pay of `1900/- per month after he has been granted ACP after rendering service for a period of fourteen years. It has been stated at the bar that the petitioner filed a representation for the said relief and has even issued a legal notice dated 05.09.2018 (Annexure P-3) through counsel. It has been further stated that the said legal notice has been forwarded to the Chief Engineer for appropriate orders.

Counsel for the petitioner has also stated that he will be satisfied in case a direction is given to the competent authority to whom the said legal notice has been forwarded to take a decision within a time frame.
