Heard forthwith with the consent of the counsel for rival parties.

It is the grievance of the petitioners that the representations Annexures P-1(colly) have been made regarding formation of wrong Wardbandi of village Pandrali, Block Sirhind, Tehsil and District Fatehgarh Sahib and the said representations have not yet been decided by the competent authority.

We find it strange that despite the directions given by this Court in CWP No.8290-2013 decided on 13.6.2013 and in particular direction No.4 that the Deputy Commissioner or the competent authority, who has to decide the objections, shall decide the objections BRIJ MOHAN BHALLA 2018.11.21 16:39 I am the author of this document

CWP-28976-2018 2 by passing a reasoned order reflecting his/her application of mind, the petitioners have to approach this Court again for the same direction. We therefore direct the Secretary of Government of Punjab, Rural Development and Panchayats Department, Punjab to issue directions to the competent authorities, who are supposed to decide the objections and to follow the directions issued by this Court in CWP No.8290-2013 decided on 13.6.2013. A circular shall be issued by appropriate authority within a period of 7 days from today. In that view of the matter, we make the following order: The petitioners shall file the objections before concerned authority and thereafter the said authority shall decide it in accordance with law within a period of two weeks therefrom if found necessary upon hearing the petitioners.

The petition stands disposed of.

Copy of this order be supplied to learned State counsel under the signatures of Bench Secretary of this Court for supplying the same before the concerned authority.
