ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN J. (Oral) Counsel for the State, on instructions from SI Pawan Kumar, submits that challan stands presented and out of 18 prosecution witnesses, 13 PWs have already been examined. Counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw this petition and further argued that that the trial Court be directed to conclude the trial expeditiously. Dismissed as withdrawn. However, considering the fact that the petitioner and one more co-accused are foreign nationals, the Senior Superintendent of Police, S.A.S. Nagar, Mohali is directed to ensure that the prosecution evidence be concluded within a period of 02 months from today, in order to enable the accused persons to lead their defence evidence within the period of next 02 months thereafter. The trial Court is directed to conclude the trial expeditiously preferably within a period of 05 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
