(ORAL) The four petitioners, who are employed as Peon, Secretary, Salesman and Chowkidar respectively with The Dehla Multipurpose Cooperative Agriculture Service Society Ltd., District Sangrur (for brevity "the Society"), seek a writ of Mandamus directing respondent No.5 for release of their salaries due w.e.f 01.12.2014. In this regard they have already approached the department concerned, however, to date the same is pending consideration.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners would be satisfied if a direction is given to the respondents for early consideration of the legal notice/ representation already pending. I have heard learned counsel for the petitioners. In view of the limited prayer made, without going into the merits of the case, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition by giving a direction that in case the petitioners move a fresh representation along with the certified copy of this order within two weeks, the same be Satyawan 2017.03.01 15:09 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court Chandigarh
