The grievance of the petitioner is that wife of his brother namely Seema Devi-respondent No.5 along with her children-respondents No.6 and 7 has started living in the house situated in Ward No.13 near Sainik Rest House, Kanina, District Mahendergarh, which is owned by the petitioner. The other private respondents have assisted her to live there and they also threatened to kill the petitioner and his family and also to outrage modesty of his wife through ultras.

The matter about possession of disputed house, on the face of it, appears to be of civil nature. The petitioner has not so far approached the civil Court with the submissions as made in the representation to the police. In such type of cases, police cannot be directed to intervene. Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.3-Superintendent of Police, Narnaul to look into the above submission in the representation (Annexure P-1), verify the same and take appropriate action in accordance with law. However, it is made clear that the police will not intervene in any property dispute between the parties, except when required or ordered by Court.
