**** JAISHREE THAKUR, J. (ORAL) The petitioner herein is seeking promotion to the post of Junior Assistant having worked for the department for over more than 20 years. In this regard he has already approached the department concerned, however, to date the same is pending consideration.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if a direction is given to the respondents for early consideration of the representation already pending. I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner In view of the limited prayer made, without going into the merits of the case, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition by giving a direction that in case the petitioner moves a fresh representation along with the certified copy of this order within two weeks, the same be decided expeditiously, preferably, within a period of two months on receipt of the same.
