Petitioner after having served as Hindi Master for almost twelve (12)years since 11.7.2006 at Govt.Middle School,Haler Janardhan, Tehsil Mukerian, District Hoshiarpur was transferred to Govt.High School,Melly, Tehsil Garhshankar, District Hoshiarpur vide impugned order dated 2.11.2018 (P-4). He claims to be visually impaired to the extent of 30% whereas his wife is stated to be 40% visually impaired. He had sought options/adjustment to any nearby place in terms of the Transfer policy. Notice of motion was issued.
At the time of hearing today,counsel for the petitioner states that the present writ petition has become infructuous as the impugned transfer order dated 2.11.2018 (P-4) stands cancalled.
