The present criminal writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 BNSS (old Section 482 Cr.P.C.) for extension of Parole already granted to the petitioner under the Punjab Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) Act, 1962 for a further period of four weeks beyond 13.06.2026 or the Court may deem fit. 2.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks withdrawal of the present petition with liberty to pursue the representation which is already pending before the District Magistrate, Moga.
