***** ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Present petition has been filed under Section 438 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short 'Cr. P.C.') for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.37 dated 30.03.2021, registered under Sections 386, 504, 153-A of Indian Penal Code,1860 and under Section 66-A of Information & Technology Act (Section 153-A IPC was dropped lateron and Section 66 of IT Act was added lateron) at Police Station, Division No.2, District Jalandhar. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to earlier order dated 11.08.2023 passed by this Court, petitioner has joined the investigation and has fully cooperated in the same. 3.
Learned State counsel as per his instructions from SI Kanwar Singh, submits that petitioner has joined investigation and in view of cooperation rendered by him, no custodial interrogation of petitioner is required. 4.
In view of the above, since custodial interrogation of petitioner is no more required and he has already joined investigation and cooperated with the investigating officer, present petition is allowed. Order dated 11.08.2023 granting POONAM RATHORE 2023.10.18 13:20 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgement
