(Oral) :

The instant petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.184 dated 15.10.2020 under Section 498-A IPC, 1860 registered at Police Station Sadar Khanna, District Ludhiana.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that pursuant to order dated 20.04.2021, passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined the investigation. This fact is not disputed by learned State counsel as well. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Harjinder Singh, has apprised this Court that the petitioner is no longer required for further interrogation.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and interim order dated 20.04.2021 is made absolute subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
