**** JAISHREE THAKUR, J. (ORAL) It is contended that the petitioners herein are entitled to be taken back in service as Home Guards because similarly situated persons have been given the same benefit.
Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that in this regard, the petitioners have already approached the respondents by representations dated 01.03.2016 (Annexures P-3 & P-4) followed by another set of representations dated 03.01.2017 (Annexures P-7 & P-8), however, the same are still pending consideration. At the present moment, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners limits his prayer to an early consideration of the representations.
I have heard learned counsel for the petitioners and without going into the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider and decide the representations dated 03.01.2017 (Annexures P-7 & P-8), by passing a speaking order in Satyawan 2017.05.19 16:47 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court Chandigarh
