The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for quashing of FIR No.006 dated 05.08.2022, registered under Sections 498-A, 406 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station NRI, District Ferozepur.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Surinder Kumar Dagar, DAG, Harynana accepts notice and waives service on behalf of respondent No.1State. 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner Nos. 1 and 2 have been acquitted of the charges by the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ferozepur, vide order dated 21.12.2023. He further submits that talks of compromise are also going on between the complainant and petitioner No.3. In view of the same, he seeks permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file afresh qua petitioner No.3 for quashing of FIR on the basis of compromise.
