He alleges that the Gram Panchayat land of his village has been encroached upon by various residents of the village against whom despite repeated complaints as well as legal notice on his behalf, no action is being taken by the authorities.

As the issue raised by the petitioner requires determination on factual aspects and none of the encroachers is party-respondent before us, we do not express any views on merits of the allegations and dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the District Development and Panchayat officer, Bathinda to hold a fact-finding enquiry and take/issue necessary instructions to the MOHINDER KUMAR 2016.05.31 11:41 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh
