SUDHIR SINGH, J. (ORAL) Present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, inter alia, seeking grant of parole of eight weeks to the petitioner to enable him to meet and look-after his family and to settle the household affairs.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for redressal of grievance of the petitioner, his wife had already moved representation(s) dated 01.08.2024 (Annexure P-2 & P-3), but no action has been taken on the same till date.

On the other hand, on advance service of copy of petition, learned State counsel appears and opposes issuance of notice of motion. He submits that grievance of the petitioner will be looked into by concerned authority and it shall take decision either way, on pending representation(s) dated 01.08.2024 (Annexure P-2 & P-3).

Given the nature of order being passed, there is no necessity to seek reply by any of the respondents as no further proceedings and/or pleadings are required.

Without commenting on merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the concerned authority to consider representation(s) dated 01.08.2024 (Annexure P-2 & P-3) and pass an appropriate reasoned order, in accordance with law, preferably within a period of 04 weeks from the date of receipt of copy/ production of this order.
