**** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (ORAL) Petitioner has challenged the order dated 16.07.2018 (Annexure P-4) by which he has been directed to deposit `10,29,040/- within two days. It has been averred in the present writ petition on the very next day the said amount has been deducted from the retirement benefits of the said pension, which according to him is not permissible, he has already issued a legal notice dated 13.08.2018 (Annexure P-6). Counsel for the petitioner states that the said legal notice is still pending and has not been decided till date. Counsel for the petitioner further states that the petitioner will be satisfied at this stage in case a time bound direction is given to the respondents to decide his legal notice dated 13.08.2018 (Annexure P-6).

CWP-29168-2018 -2Keeping in view the request made by counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the competent authority to decide the legal notice (Annexure P-6) within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. In case after the decision, the petitioner is found entitled for any monetary benefits, the same be also released to him within a period of next three months.

Present writ petition stands disposed of.
