This is a petition for quashing of FIR No. 128 dated 11.12.2020 under Sections 34, 354, 406, 498-A and 506 IPC registered at Police Station Karnal, District Karnal (Annexure P-4), final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. (Annexure P-9) and the impugned order dated 24.8.2022 (Annexure P-10) vide which the petitioner was charge-sheeted to face trial under Sections 406, 498-A and 506 IPC.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Manjeet, states that after investigation challan in the case was filed on 27.5.2022 and charges were framed on 24.8.2022.

In view thereof, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to challenge the order framing charges.

Permission is granted.
