**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL , J. (ORAL) Case is taken up for hearing through video conferencing. The petitioner seeks regular bail in FIR No. 0236 dated 10.6.2020 under Sections 323, 506, 34 IPC and Section 328 IPC (added later on) registered at Police Station Kurukshetra University, District Kurukshetra.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits in the present case, complainant-Hem Lata is the wife of the petitioner and their marriage was solemnized in the year 2009 and out of the said wedlock, one girl child, aged 10 years, was born. He further submits that the allegations against the petitioner are totally false and the FIR was got registered by the complainant at the spur of the moment and petitioner has been in custody since 21.10.2020.

CRM-M No. 41304 of 2020 -2instructions from Sub Inspector Jagdish Chander, submits that the compromise has been effected between the petitioner-husband and the complainant-wife and as per the version of the complainant, as per the investigating agency, the complainant does not want to take any further action against her husband i.e. petitioner Ram Sharma. Copy of the statement of Hem Lata-wife dated 13.1.2021 has been sent through e-mail, which is taken on record.
I have heard the learned counsel for the parties. In the present case, the dispute was between the husbandpetitioner and the wife-complainant and now a compromise has been effected between them. The petitioner has been in custody since 28.10.2020. The trial will take time to conclude because of Covid-19 pandemic. No useful purpose would be served by keeping the petitioner behind the bars. Without commenting anything on the merits of the case, the petition is allowed and the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his furnishing bail/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court/Duty Magistrate.
