**** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (ORAL) Petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking grant of family pension on account of the service rendered by her husband, namely, Kesar Singh, from 1986 till 28.08.2013 on the date when he unfortunately died while in service.

Counsel for the petitioner states that Kesar Singh was a regular employee and hence the petitioner, who is wife of Kesar Singh, is entitled to the family pension.

In respect of the delay in approaching this Court from August, 2003 to till November, 2018 i.e. for 15 years, counsel for the petitioner states that there were several representations which were given NARESH KUMAR 2018.11.23 14:01 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

CWP-29185-2018 -2by the petitioner and the matter remained pending with the respondent(s)- department. Some of the representations have been attached along with the present writ petition as well.

Counsel for the petitioner further states that the last representation (Annexure P-19) was made on 23.05.2018 to respondent No.1. Counsel further states that the petitioner will be satisfied in case a direction is given to the respondents to decide the said representation in a time bound manner.

Without expressing any opinion upon the entitlement of the petitioner and the merits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1 to consider the representation dated 23.05.2018 (Annexure P-19) and pass an appropriate order thereupon within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. In case it is found that the petitioner is entitled for any benefit, the same shall also be released to her within a period of next three months.

Present writ petition stands disposed of.
