(ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that when the grievance of the petitioner-Corporation was not being redressed by the respondent authorities, it finally approached respondent No.2 by way of legal notice dated 02.04.2015 (Annexure P-7) but the same is also pending decision. He further submits that the petitioner will be satisfied in case the Sub Divisional Magistrate-cum-competent authority, L.A.C. National Highways Authority of India, Rajpura, District Patiala-respondent No.2 is directed to consider and decide its legal notice, within a reasonable time.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Sub Divisional Magistrate-cumcompetent authority, L.A.C. National Highways Authority of India, Rajpura, District Patiala-respondent No.2 to consider the legal notice (Annexure P-7) and decide the same as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. It is further directed that if, after due consideration of the matter, respondent No.2 comes to the conclusion that the petitioner is PANKAJ KUMAR 2017.01.

CWP No.383 of 2017 -2entitled for the amount being sought to be released, the same shall be released in favour of the petitioner, without any further loss of time. With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of.
