These cases involve similar issues and therefore, are being disposed of together.

Prayer made in the present petitions for granting interim stay against implementation of punishment orders dated 23.01.2025 and 27.03.2024 as per the mandate of the provison of Rule 20 of the Punjab Civil Services (Punishment and Appeal) Rules, 1970.

Learned counsel submits that the orders dated 23.01.2025 and 27.03.2024 have been passed by which the amount is ordered to be recovered in instalments. He refers to Rule 20 of the Punjab Civil Services (Punishment and MOHIT 2025.07.07 17:19 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CWP-18343-2025 (O&M) CWP-18492-2025 (O&M) -2Appeal) Rules, 1970, to contend that while the appeal is pending, order be not acted upon. Reliance is placed on the orders passed in Joginder Singh vs. State of Punjab and others, CWP-6993-2025, decided on 12.03.2025 and Jaspinder Singh vs. Punjab State Warehousing Corporation and another, CWP-313412024, decided on 21.11.2024 wherein interim relief to not effect recovery has been granted with direction to the respondents to decide the appeal within a period of 4 months.
