Prayer in the instant petition filed under Section 438 Cr.PC is for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.50 dated 04.06.2019 registered under Sections 354, 323, 148, 149 IPC (Sections 3 and 4 of SC & ST Act added later on) at Police Station Zira, District Ferozepur. Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the petitioners are innocent people and the present FIR is due to political vendetta as the petitioners belongs to Akali Party. It is further contended that a perusal of the FIR also reveals that a concocted story has been falsely put forth as in the original FIR, which was registered from which no offence punishable under SC/ST Act could be made out.
Learned State counsel while opposing the bail application submits that there are serious allegations against the petitioners, who manhandled the Sarpanch Paramjit Kaur, who belonged to Majbi Sikh caste and tried to outrage her modesty when she along with other residents of SONIA BURA 2020.01.17 14:50 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document chandigarh

In view of the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, no ground for granting anticipatory bail is made out as offence punishable under Sections 3 and 4 of SC/ST Act stands added in the FIR and there is complete bar under Section 18 of the SC/ST Act. Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed.
