# "2. That the Offer of appointment for the post of Workshop Superintendent has been issued to the petitioner by Respondent No.1 vide letter No. TECH-TE-202/6/20202TE2/1050 dated 13.10.2021 annexed as Annexure R-1. It is further submitted that on the request, the petitioner was granted three months extension period vide letter No. TECHTE-202/6/2020-2TE2-Part(1)/1076 dated 08.11.2021 but petitioner failed to join on the said post even during the extension period uptill 12.01.2022. That the period of appointment issued to respondent No. 4 had expired and his candidature was cancelled due to his non joining. Therefore, the petitioner is estopped by his own omission of not joining on the said post. That present civil writ petition is liable to be dismissed on this very ground."
