Petitioner had filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to extend his date of retirement upto the age of 61 and 62 in pursuance ot the judgment in CWP 25972/2015 decided on 3.8.2016 titled Dr.Jagjiwan Singh v State of Punjab and others. Notice of motion stands issued.

Now CM 12693/2018 has been filed seeking withdrawal of the petition on the ground that due to some domestic problems petitioner does not want to pursue the petition. The application is supported by an affidavit of the petitioner.

In view of the above, CM 12693/2018 is allowed and CWP 3904/2017 is dismissed as withdrawn.
