Through the instant petition, as filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioners have sought issuance of directions upon the official respondents, to ensure protection of their lives and liberty at the hands of private respondents concerned, and, also to restrain the said private respondents from harassing the petitioners or interfering in their life as they are living in 'Live-in-Relationship'.

On the asking of the Court, Ms. Amrit Kaur Mahir, AAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the official respondents. 4.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that this criminal writ petition may kindly be disposed of in view of the judgment passed by Division Bench in CRWP No. 4660 of 2021 titled as 'Yash Pal and another Versus State of Haryana and others'.
