1. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, but without commenting anything as regards the veracity of the averments made in the petition, the same is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Malerkotla, to get representation dated 01.07.2024 (Annexure P-1) examined qua the alleged threat perception of the petitioner in accordance with law. In case, it is found that there is genuine threat to life and liberty of the petitioner, then necessary steps as warranted under law be taken thereupon.

2. A copy of this order along with copy of representation dated 01.07.2024 (Annexure P-1) be sent to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Malerkotla, for necessary compliance.
