This petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking directions upon respondents No. 2 to 4 to grant police protection to the petitioners and to protect their lives and liberty at the hands of respondents No. 9 to 11.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners have filed the representations dated 14.8.2024, dated 10.3.2025 (Annexure P-11), dated 8.4.2025 (Annexure P-12) and dated 21.5.2025 (Annexure P-13) before the respondents concerned raising their grievances as mentioned in the present petition but the same have not yet been considered and no action has been taken thereupon. She further submits that at this stage, the petitioners would be satisfied if, appropriate directions are issued to the respondents concerned to consider and decide the aforesaid representations filed by the petitioners and take necessary action thereupon.

In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioners and without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of at this stage with a direction to respondents No. 2 and 3 to consider and decide the aforesaid representations of the petitioners expeditiously, by passing a speaking order in accordance with law. 6.
