Petitioners have filed the present petition for issuance of direction to respondents No.5 to 7 not to summon and harass them by calling unnecessarily in their offices on the basis of applications submitted by respondent No.8.

Mr. PKS Phoolka, Advocate has filed his power of attorney on behalf of respondent No.8, which is taken on record. 3.

Learned State counsel has filed the short reply by way of affidavit of Sh. Saravjeet Singh Brar, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Bathinda, which is taken on record. Learned counsel submits that after the detailed enquiry was conducted, the Superintendent of Police, Bathinda was of the opinion that since Civil Court was already ensued of the matter, therefore, no intervention by the police authorities was called for. Even the averment of the petitioners that they were being unnecessarily harassed by the police officials was found to be false. According to police authorities, petitioners were never unnecessarily summoned during the enquiry HAMANT 2025.08.22 18:15 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

-2CRM-M-35063-2025 proceedings. After recording their respective statements, they were relieved and based upon the opinion of the enquiry officer and the legal opinion given by the Deputy District Attorney, the representation of respondent No.8 was consigned.

In view of the said reply, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the present petition may be disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
