(Oral) Prayer in this petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.52, dated 22.06.2019, under Sections 406, 498-A IPC, registered at Police Station Women, District Patiala. Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the outset, submits that the petitioner and the complainant have amicably settled all their disputes and have decided to part ways. He further submits that in compliance of order dated 28.08.2019, the petitioner had joined investigation and cooperated with the investigating agency. Therefore, the present petition be allowed. Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Baljinder Singh, does not dispute the factum of the petitioner having joined investigation and having cooperated with the investigating agency. CRM-M-35129-2019 [ 2 ] petitioner is not required for further investigation, much less, for custodial interrogation. No recovery is to be effected from the petitioner. Learned counsel appearing for the complainant does not dispute the submissions made by the counsel opposite with respect to the parties having amicably settled the dispute.

In the circumstances, the instant petition is allowed and order dated 28.08.2019 is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
