In this writ petition filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has prayed for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the notice dated 18.01.2017 (Annexure P-8) issued by respondent No.5-Tax Recovery Officer-I, who had directed the petitioner to deposit the remaining amount of alleged tax. 2.

Learned counsel for respondents No.4 and 5- Revenue has produced a copy of communication dated 10.10.2017 received from Tax Recovery Officer-I, addressed to her intimating that notice dated 18.01.2017 (Annexure P-8) which has been impugned in the writ petition has been withdrawn and the intimation in this regard has also been sent to the petitioner-assessee. The aforesaid communication is taken on record.
