Prayer in this writ petition is for setting aside action of the respondents in not considering the candidature of the petitioners and further directing the respondents to consider the petitioners as eligible for appointment to the post of PGT (English) and PGT (Biology), respectively. Learned counsel for the parties are ad idem that the controversy is squarely covered by the decision of Hon'ble Supreme Court in Haryana Staff Selection Commission Vs. Priyanka and others, 2021(4) SCT 80. The petitioners' candidature had been rejected solely on the ground that the result of their qualifying examination i.e. B.Ed. had not been officially declared before the cut of date i.e. 12.10.2015.

It is the categoric stand of the petitioners that they had applied to Maharishi Dayanand University for their confidential result, which was conveyed to the Haryana Staff Selection Commission before the cut off date. Scanned copies of the confidential result were also stated to have been sent to the respondent - Commission. Petitioners RITU SHARMA 2022.01.

CWP-3967-2017 (O&M) -2candidature was considered provisionally under order dated 28.02.2017 passed in this writ petition.

Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from Sh. Sukhwinder, ADA, Haryana Staff Selection Commission, submits that petitioners' candidature has been considered and their roll numbers figure in the list of selected candidates in the revised result, issued subsequent to the judgment of Hon'ble Supreme Court in Priyanka's case (supra). In view of the above, present writ petition is rendered infructuous. Disposed of accordingly.
