Through this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner prays for issuance of writ in the nature of certiorari quashing the action of respondent No.2 denying the promotion to the petitioner as a Trained Graduate Teacher (Science), The petitioner states that his juniors have been promoted whereas he has been denied the promotion without any justifiable reason.

On 10.12.2020, the learned Additional Advocate General, Haryana was requested to take instructions and assist the Court. Thereafter, the case was adjourned on his request to today. Mr. Samarth Sagar, Additional Advocate General, Haryana, on the instructions from the Director Elementary Education, Haryana, has informed the Court that on 14.12.2020, the petitioner has been promoted as a Trained Graduate Teacher (Science) with effect from 18.03.2016.
