**** JAISHREE THAKUR, J. (ORAL) It is contended that the petitioner herein is eligible to be promoted to the post of Accountant from the post of Mandi Supervisor having the necessary qualification.

As per rules 100 % Accountants are to be promoted from amongst the Mandi Supervisors-cum-fees Collectors who have an experience of working as such for a minimum period of three years and who have qualified the Departmental Examination to be held by the Board separately from time to time. The petitioner has been given additional charge of an Accountant, however, the representation moved by the petitioner for promotion to the said post is yet pending consideration. At the present moment, Mr. C.M. Munjal, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner limits his prayer to an early decision of the said representation.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner. I propose to dispose of the instant writ petition in view of the Satyawan 2017.03.03 12:34 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court Chandigarh

CWP No. 4002 of 2017 -2limited prayer made, without going into the merits of the case, with a direction to the petitioner to file a fresh representation within a period of two weeks along with the certified copy of this order. On receipt of the said representation, the respondents-department is directed to decide the same by passing a speaking order in accordance with law within a period of two months thereafter.
