(ORAL) CRM-34253 of 2022 This is an application filed for grant of leave under Rule 3-A (i) of Chapter VI, Part B, Volume V of Punjab and Haryana High Court Rules and Orders to file the present petition. In view of averments made in the application, the same is allowed and leave is granted under the aforesaid Rules and Orders to file the present petition.

CRM-M-41851 of 2022 Through this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for quashing of order dated 12.04.2022 (Annexure P-3) whereby bail of the petitioner was cancelled and non-bailable warrants were issued against him in FIR No.13 dated 28.01.2021 registered under Sections 379-B, 34, 411 IPC at Police Station Bhargo Camp, District Jalandhar Commissionerate.

-2CRM-M-41851 of 2022 (O&M) After investigation, petitioner was nominated as accused in the present case and was arrested on 28.01.2021. He was granted bail by the Additional Sessions Judge, Jalandhar, vide order dated 02.03.2021. However, petitioner remained absent on 12.04.2022 without intimation to the Court, which resulted into cancellation of his bail and forfeiture of bail/surety bonds to the State. No cogent reason has been given by the petitioner for his absence.

In view of the above, this petition is dismissed. However, if the petitioner surrenders before the trial Court within ten days from today and files an application for regular bail, the trial Court will decide the same on the same date when the application is filed.
