(ORAL) Instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India has been filed for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents No.1 to 6 to decide representations dated 05.10.2009 (Annexure P-1) and dated 20.11.2015 (Annexure P-8) moved by the petitioner with regard to embezzlement of Government grants committed by respondent No.8 during his tenure a Sarpanch of the Village. Learned counsel for the petitioner vehemently contended that he has already moved various representations with regard to financial irregularities committed by respondent No.8 during his tenure as Sarpanch. He has made specific reference to representations dated 05.10.2009 and 20.11.2015 (Annexures P-1 and P-8).

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and after perusing the paper-book, however, without commenting on merits of the case, instant RAVINDER SINGH 2016.05.23 15:04 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

-2CWP No.9973 of 2016 petition is disposed of, without issuing notice to the respondents, with a direction to respondent No.5 - District Development and Panchayat Officer, District Hoshiarpur, to look into the grievance of the petitioner specifically made in representation dated 20.11.2015 (Annexure P-8) and take appropriate decision in accordance with law preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and communicate the same to the petitioner.
