Petitioner has approached this Court under Section 438 Code of Criminal Procedure to seek anticipatory bail in case FIR No.103 dated 01.05.2020 under Sections 302, 34 and 120-B of Indian Penal Code, 1860 registered at Police Station Bhawanigarh, District Sangrur, who apprehends her arrest at the hands of Police.
On 01.11.2021, this Court had passed the following order:- "Learned counsel contends that as per complainant Parminder Singh @ Bhindi, the petitioner and accusedManpreet Singh had developed illicit relations when her husband was serving sentence pursuant to conviction in some other case and all the accused persons had attacked Varinder Singh causing his death on 30.04.2020. According to him, the victim was allegedly opposing the relationship between the petitioner and Manpreet Singh GEETA RANI 2022.05.18 15:04 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document
CRM-M-45593-2021 (O&M) -2but strangely, the husband of the petitioner joined with the said Manpreet Singh to attack the victim. It is pointed out that in all five persons had caused this occurrence and after investigation, the petitioner was found innocent. He further submits that the petitioner has been summoned pursuant to cognizance by Sessions Court under Section 193 Cr.P.C and is apprehending her detention. Notice of motion for 24.11.2021.
Meanwhile, in case the petitioner appears before the trial Court, she shall be released on interim regular bail subject to her furnishing the requisite bail bonds and surety bonds."
Today, learned counsel for the petitioner states that in pursuant to the above direction given by this Court, petitioner has put in appearance before the trial Court and has furnished the bail bonds and surety bonds. Learned State counsel does not dispute this fact that the petitioner has submitted bail bonds and surety bonds. Considering above, the petition is allowed and it is ordered that the petitioner shall continue to remain on bail on the same bail bonds and surety bonds furnished by her pursuant to order dated 01.11.2021 passed by this Court.
