**** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (ORAL) In the present case, the petitioner has approached this Court for the grant of promotional increment after rendering 23 years of service. Petitioner is relying upon a judgment of this Court passed in CWP No.10808 of 2007, decided on 24.01.2012. It has been mentioned in the writ petition that the petitioner has served a legal notice dated 14.09.2018 (Annexure P-4) for the said claim upon the respondent(s) and the same is still pending and not decided.

CWP-29447-2018 -2Keeping in view the request made by counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case and in respect of the claim made in the present petition, the respondents are directed to pass a speaking order and decide the legal notice (Annexure P-4) within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. In case after the decision, the petitioner is found entitled for any monetary benefits, the same be also released to him within a period of next three months.

Present writ petition stands disposed of.
