The instant petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of the order dated 26.05.2016 (Annexure P-4), passed by the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Dasuya, whereby the petitioner has been declared as Proclaimed Offender. 2.
Mr. Satbir Rathore, Advocate has put in appearance on behalf of respondent No.2 and filed his 'vakalatnama', which is taken on record. He submits that the present petition has been rendered infructuous as the FIR No.51 dated 22.07.2015, under Sections 498-A, 406 IPC, 1860, registered at Police Station Gardhiwal, District Hoshiarpur, has already been quashed by this Court on the basis of compromise, vide order dated 01.07.2024, passed in CRM-M-3981-2024. Copy of the said order has been submitted in the Court today, which is taken on record. 3.
Disposed of as having been rendered infructuous. 4.
